8. Persona 5 Strikers

What if Persona 5 was a Musou and also had better characterization for the main cast? The gameplay got a little bit samey near the end, but the entertaining characters and improved localization elevate the game. Also the soundtrack absolutely fucks.

Damn Midna is so fun to color. With VIZ doing the localization for the Twilight Princess manga, I really wish they'd make high quality scans more available but sadly they're only doing physical releases 😔

Had a short run, but this manga was THE MOMENT! A strong and more importantly authentic coming of age tale.

Fun fact, in the French localization of JoJo they use the same volume covers and names as the Japanese versions but they actually rebrand each part as their own manga (i.e. Part 1 is just called "Phantom Blood") and the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" is merely a subtitle.

A redesign and attempted localization of Abiorugu as if he was reintroduced as a 5th gen monster. The Frontier series monsters had some awesome designs, and Abiorugu was always one of my favorites. Hopefully we’ll see some Frontier monsters be resurrected for future MH games.

Romanization is the conversion of text from a different writing system to Latin script. リオレウス = Rioreusu.

Localization adapts it to appear to have been developed from a specific language/culture to make it easier to identify with without confusion. Rioreusu became Rathalos.
