Well, I'll jump on the bandwagon cause seems like fun- last time I did the pokemon thing the most common types were rock and fairy so have a plesiosaur friend- I'm bad at names so some kind of combination of nessie and crystal was what I was leaning?

This is my first time ever painting or even drawing an icthyosaur, I think. It’s a Temnodontosaurus. I feel like everyone depicts icthyosaurs as graceful and dolphin-like. Nah man they still giant killer sea reptiles. Better luck next time mr plesiosaur.

Drew up some ideas of what would make a unique Nessie species earlier today and decided to finalize them. Based it on the outdated swan neck posture in plesiosaurs, along with turtles and the monster Varan. Male above, Female below.

Pliosaur in a party hat!
Or is it a pliosauromorph plesiosaur in a partyomorph fez? Hmm. Either way this Mesozoic marine reptile is ready to celebrate.

authors et al. are investigating the evolutionary history of polycotylid plesiosaurians through the reinterpretation of the holotype specimen of Thililua longicollis, and clarify its cranial anatomy https://t.co/v8pjNZQXKx

My new paper with et al. is out : https://t.co/NqLUXfZUf9. We reinterpret Thililua longicollis, a peculiar plesiosaur from Morocco and analyse the evolution of Polycotylidae. They diversified before the extinction of their competitors
