The tall rami of the SK 23 mandible match the tall faces of other fossils attributed to its species, Paranthropus robustus. Isotopic evidence suggests it ate the same range of foods as the smaller-toothed members of our own genus, Homo.

On I want to recognize the Gibraltar 1 Neandertal skull. This year marks 150 since the publication of The Descent of Man, and this skull was the only skeletal evidence of an extinct human ancestor that Charles Darwin encountered.

Found tiny watercolor paintings I made after a day-long fossil hunt on the beach in September. Had forgotten about them

For a Dinictis skull with puncture marks in its skull. The spacing and shape of the punctures suggest a Hyaenodon horridus bit this nimravid's skull and killed it.

Since I'm just about done with Amurosaurus. I decided to start on the next hadrosaur skull I wanted to make. The juvenile Kazaklambia convincens from Kazakhstan. I'm reusing many elements I made for Amurosaurus and reshaping them to fit this taxon. 1/3

The "robust" lineage shows some differences between earlier and later P. boisei fossils from the East African Rift Valley. Omo 57-41 at 2.36 million years old is near the critical transition time. Maybe it's P. aethiopicus, or maybe not?

I understandably don't get many chances to play the pred, so sometimes I just...play act them out. No harm in that, right? ^^; Unfortunately, *some* prehistoric fossil named saw it fit to ruin my fun. That rex has no sense of humor... >.<;

As you saw recently, I've worked on a spate of Space Dinosaurs. Recently I really wanted to create a space Protoceratops...my favorite dinosaur, small but mighty. I added the Velociraptor as a homage to the Fighting Dinosaurs fossil and I threw Pluto in the background!
