After UV unwrapping, add a new texture and bake AO onto it using the following settings and click Bake in the render tab. You have to be in textured mode to preview it.

Tried Krita, it need brush shortcuts and shortcuts to change brush size (holding shift works, but i prefer to use keys). And its not smooth for me, comparing to painttoolsai, but i love having proper textured brush

On the topic of store mounts, why're people mad that they're "recolored & non-textured models"?

1st: They're completely different NEW models from the MoP Gryphon/Wyverns (same skeleton, yes)

2nd: Their texture is chiseled/ cracked stone. Statue-like, hence "Alabaster"
