The subconscious mind is an amazing thing.... I’m editing old school work and I just realized that last year, without realizing, I put doctor who into my illustration, even tho at that point in my life I hadn’t even thought about doctor who in like 5 years... 😂
Johnny is originally based on being a mashup of Kanye West (Hence, Johnny Kwest), and Johnny from the Devil Went Down to Georgia (although him more in the devil's role). But I think subconsciously, there was some Garcia "Fucking" Hotspur from Shadows of the Damned in there.
Another throwback 2014 illo that I still like! I did this while taking an awesome online class on composition. Reyna and Nico were my fave characters from Heroes of Olympus. 😘💪🏽✨ (Also, retroactively realizing that I subconsciously favor downward angle compositions haha.)
