Found better ways to sketch the head, and utilizing more references.

Currently trying to render and add lighting, from which point I'll apply base colors and refine.

For example: 1st has more textured washes and empty space, 2nd used oil brushes and Romanticism style lighting
(But oil is easier for me)

Honestly, the book was a real challenge, I never draw something with such volume before.
Before this, the linework plays a huge part in the comic but for CA, they are just sketches. CA was all about lighting and mood, my work has always felt a bit rusty but CA is on another lv 😂

Self indulgent study

I wanted to practice latex/bodysuit lighting.
Also brush stroke practice.

Gave a slight make over to an old Pozyomka artwork. Wasn't too happy with the way i drew faces and and did lighting back then, so It was a perfect opportunity to experiment and play around with colors ☺️
