I can kind of see where the artist is coming from. The eyes, eyelashes, and the shading is similar. There are a lot of similarities. But it's not outright tracing nor is it 100% alike. The way they handled it was COMPLETELY wrong. Witch hunts are not the answer.

I fell in love with PMD back in 2014.

I think I spent a good few days at my bestie's house during summer doodling on a piece of paper all the pokemon before tracing the whole thing digitally.

It was such a chore but I was so happy about the result. Still am actually.
