I tweaked the colours a bit and added an outline to make it pop a bit more and I legit cannot tell which is actually better. 🤔

For me, I start by sketching an outline on a separate layer. Then I paint using other layers (1 layer for skin, 1 for hair in front, 1 for tentacles, etc.).

If I need to refine edges, I use the eraser tool.

Basically, I'm painting the picture, not drawing it.

She’s coming along. I think I’m going to use to really get some work done on my next book. The outline is complete, the plot is ready. All I have left is some method moments to get into these characters’ heads. 😳

I assume this was the small tortoise that was on the angry farmer lady's head from decades ago.

It's nice to know that it's still around but sad to realize that it outlived its caretaker. Hopefully frog dad has been able to take care of it.
