I designed a system for phased fights myself. Using phases works pretty well. They do not have to be implemented as ridgid as I did it here - you can be flexible with them! Players will love the added dynamics.

So yeah, good advice that I encourage!

Decided to go with a different style for the leaves on this vine. It’s a little more subtle and I like it. Was also easier to implement since I didn’t have to worry about stems lining up with the body of the vine this way

Hmmm that’s something we are thinking about implementing into our new game. It’s an co-op adventure card game (you play against a scenario instead of another player) where you fight monsters like werewolves & vampires. As you play you could be rewarded with a currency, cards, etc
