I'm pretty good at hunting down unique opportunities and finding adventure in everything I do. (Example: I find fossils while walking the dog.)

Some buddies and I had an idea that the Fossil pokemon in SwSh could have had new forms or evos where they grew into themselves and ceased their eternal suffering. So I present: Worm, Cackle, Wiggle, and Fat.
Dracozolt sprite! I love the new fossil Pokemon. They're silly.
So the fossil pokemon in swsh are a reference to the fact that at some point in the uk when people were finding a whole bunch of fossils nobody knew how to properly piece them together so they just threw together whatever they thought looked right

someone please just put the sword and shield fossil pokemon out of their misery we can't play god like this
since combining pokemon fossils and bringing them to life as horrifying abominations against mother nature is all the rage at the moment i decided to doodle this idea i had
kabutops and tyrantrum, combined
you got jelly in my peanut butter

Today's dinosaur for #DinoVember is Therizinosaurus! A large theropod who lived in the late Cretaceous period. 🦖
This dinosaur's look is based on incomplete fossils, including forearms with gigantic claws (loaning to its name which means "scythe lizard"). 🦴
[shsw pokemon] I think the more time the fossil pokemon go in and out of pokeball the more their bodies adjust and so this shiny dracozolt is looking pretty 'smooth' https://t.co/w2gbaK9pPS
For #FossilFriday, here's my 2017 #paleoart of the largest known ape, Gigantopithecus blacki, as featured in the Palaeoartist's Handbook and my upcoming book, Life Through the Ages II. It's sharing the scene with a Homo erectus.
A mashup between Jefferson and Megalonyx jeffersoni #fossilfriday @slothgirlmel @docsloth
#Amaura & #Aurorus (my second favorite fossil Pokemon) are based on #sauropods, specifically #Amargasaurus, which were speculated to have had possible skin sail extensions on their vertebral spines.
#Tyrunt & #Tyrantrum (my favorite fossil Pokemon btw) are based on #Tyrannosaurus, with Tyrunt having the crests similar to #Gorgosaurus. The fringe serves as a reference of Tyrannosaurus possibly having feathers. Photo of @SUEtheTrex
