A little late to the spinosaur trend as everyone has moved on to Amargasaurus, but I wanted to do a quick reconstruction of the Baryonyx from the paper. Some palaeos have brought up legitimate concerns, but it has a really cool silhouette I wanted to explore.

Follow-up: digging through old backups I found another drawing from the same year & month that leads me to believe the sauropod in the above image is also Argentinosaurus. I like the color scheme I gave Amargasaurus, though. I hope I get a chance to reuse that at some point.

Fun fact, the Kalos Fossil Pokemon, Aurorus, from the Sail Fossil, is based on the Dinosaur Amargasaurus, and not just any bronto or apato or whatever. The resemblance is quite canny here with the sail on it's back as well as other characteristics + it's name.

& (my second favorite fossil Pokemon) are based on specifically which were speculated to have had possible skin sail extensions on their vertebral spines.
