Monsters with the FRANTIC move pattern will mostly ignore the player, preferring to charge around like a headless chicken! (or like an air-hockey puck). They will still shoot at you, of course.

Monsters with the SLIDE move pattern (like this Poislug) can launch themselves forwards at high speed. But they can't change direction until after that slide is completed!

Monsters with the new ZIGZAG move pattern spend half their time sitting still, and half their time rapidly zigging about. They're much easier to aim at when they've stopped.

Molem's ICICLES skill has super high knockback - especially if you hit with multiple shots. It also deals the new FROZEN ailment, which slows the target's move speed waaaay down.

This week I started work on 8 new monsters for my game What a right band of miscreants!
As always, you can mount all these monsters and use their skills. I'll be showing what they all do in future tweets.

He... hey, wait! You're not supposed to shoot the ☢️PLUTONITE!☢️

Once activated, Magnetite will attract nearby bullets into it's orbit. You can even shoot right around it, if you're smart.

These VENUS FOOT TRAPS have moved on from eating flies. They now lie in wait for a different kind of food - the FEET of any explorers that venture too close!

These Bomboulders explode with just the slightest encouragement. Watch out for chain reactions!

This week I drew up a whole bunch of new capturable loot assets for my game Some of these will erupt, explode or even buff you! These effects & abilities will be shown off next week's tweets.

These destructible Honeycombs can be used to make monsters Sticky (but watch out for chain reactions!)

Shrubhog's Barrier skill is great for blocking powerful attacks, but can sometimes struggle with rapid-fire shots.

Once you've fed a Jumbo monster, you can latch on with your lassoo and charge across the map, knocking back everything in your path! It'll only last for a few rooms, so make it count.

With the Muktopus' new Conceal skill you can give monsters the runaround! 🐙 But invisible isn't the same thing as invincible - you can still take damage if you run into stuff!

Prickly pears fire in wide-spread bursts. Personally I wouldn't eat these raw - but monsters seem to love them!

Bananarangs have just the right curvature to let them home in on your target.

I've given each monster a secondary attack to make them more well-rounded and less predictable. Seahorses have the Water Wheel attack, which covers them from incoming projectiles before launching towards the target.

Galvangler can use the Hypno Lure ability, which pulls the target towards you and inflicts Dizziness. It's great for closing distance!

Sandamanders can kick up a Sand Screen and then fire a Spit Shot from safely behind it. Fortunately, this screen can be shot down!

Excess loot can be stored in your cabin for later.
