Out of the box, OpenXCom will play as the DOS game, with the original GFX, fonts and MIDI music. 😮 Heck, you can even play it at the original screen resolution if you really want. But you get the nice bug-fixes, mouse-wheel support, and many little extras to make life easier. 👍
