I think that these gradient maps I've been testing out are really useful, but when it comes down to it, I feel like there is no substitute for painting in all the colors myself. I don't think I could have achieved the color result I have here if I had relied on gradient maps.

Made a mock color map for Red! No clue when we'll get to actual color mapping but I wanted to give it a go! Been examining Skullgirls's color maps which are masterworks. Don't wanna get as complex as them but I think what I have here provides lots of possibilities! Good test run!
