St Sebastian (1457-8, 1480 & c1490) was painted by him at least 3 times. These show his development & growing confidence. His interest in Roman architecture & a desire to show an antique vista are apparent. So too is increased emotion as he sought to paint spiritual suffering

No I get it. I mean the Jodorwsky version I love to think about how colourful and eclectic it would have felt, seeing that universe so so richly realized. There's so much visual potential in there outside of lots of brutalist architecture and spaceships.

The void wasn’t always dark. Parts of it were filled with light. There were no colors, just all white. The light was filled with ruins. Architecture long forgotten. And creatures, often hungry ones. Sometimes I’d get lucky and walk along the border, getting to see both at once.
