This is one of those instances where you can add extraoral tissue to plesiosaurs. There is no reason why this and several other did not have “lips”.

New pterosaur! The Hasandong pterosaur was a member of the boreopterids, a group with vertical needle-like teeth that probably fed on fish and small vertebrates.
