The flawed but enjoyable film Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah would be the last Heisei Godzilla film to have genuinely impressive cinematography. While Koichi Kawakita's special effects work is a step down from Godzilla vs. Biollante, King Ghidorah is a very well-shot film.
I need a Sony A6000 for my cinematography career or any other camera 🙏🙏 #tweetaneed
FILM OF THE DAY: Top notch 1953 #filmnoir with excon gone straight getting dragged into crime by prison escapees, with taut direction by #AndreDeToth atmospheric cinematography by #BertGlennon solid cast #SterlingHayden #GeneNelson #PhyllisKirk #CharlesBronson #TedDeCorsia #1950s
I love all the contrasting colours that depict the different settings, temperature, tone and motifs. From cool watery pastels and earthy reds (Atreides), sickly greens and blacks (Harkonnen) to opulent golds (The Emperor).
That sweet Freddie Francis cinematography.

I don't think anyone understands how happy I am that the Monsterverse isn't dead. I have LOVED this films - and I'd argue in many ways they've been on par with Jurassic for me.
Some of the cinematography and the set-pieces across this franchise has been god-damn breathtaking.
