One thing I do is make lineart and chip away at it to clean it, but usually My sketches will probably be this rough for my shapes and on one layer I refine it 💔

Fun factoid, I originally considered starting out with a Live2D avatar, based on my old avatar. Logic was that if I can draw, rigging should be easy. Oh boy was I wrong.
Either way, I'm glad I took a second stab to refine the design and all that jazz.
