Magical milkshake~

I'm trying my best to improve on the areas outside of my comfort zone so i decided to draw a girl with a darker skin tone, something I've never done before!

Experimented putting gulaman on expired watercolor paper. It works in a way, but my application was uneven and it can get spotty. Some areas have the gulaman reactivate and you can see spots in the 3rd photo. Ok for studies and doodles, not sure if it can store long 😅#artph

This is an interesting idea!
I'll choose this piece, I think. It's one of my most popular paintings but I actually don't like it very much! I think I went way too dark in the dark areas which makes the neck fur look very fake, and I got very lazy with the background.

Rose Siren can found near secluded areas of the ocean. Recognized by their infamous Rose fin (a prized collectable for many hunters), they are quite a vision. They shed their petals about once a day, leaving petals all across the ocean floor.

Testing Freestyle lines out on Reimu. It behaves well in some areas, but has the usual problem with broken strokes (lumpy areas) and doesn't handle the ruffles very well. Will need to pair it with another line art option.
