It doesn’t help that horizontal pieces are also extra extra tiny. Widescreen is great for desktop but the worst for anything mobile. Here’s how I might post a detailed landscape scale piece. Hope this helps!

These tangs undergo a color shift as they age. Juveniles are dark orange with dark blue chevron patterns. As they age, they turn black with blue horizontal stripes. ⁠

When designing rooms for I usually spice up the composition with 3 kinds of lines: Vertical/horizontal lines, diagonal lines and organic lines. Although invisible to the viewer, I think they make the composition more interesting.

i don't regret committing to horizontal spreads for my big omg moments (esp. in book form) but... yeahhhh, vertical scrolling is simply the reality now. (looking to start uploading later this month!)
