Getting ready to finalize stencils, though I want to add a lil something yet. Gradients will be done by hand with the spray cans. Gonna be an experience. Based Delicious Goth Kirin belongs to @PonyQuarantine (Image 1 is modified by me for spray colors, Image 2 is the original)
Testing out gradients and a light pinch of level correction! I really had fun with this one.

The last day of #ArtistTimeTravel21 🥲 Thanks for coming on this journey with me!
I love this girl, a lot. The slight gradient in her hair is nice, her colors are nice, even the hand isn't bad!? I had just discovered Vocaloid, and took way too much inspo from Miku 😂 #animegirl
*A post before I'm busy gaming etc
so I decided to also post this drawing without the gradient map.
I personally like the one with the gradient map bcos I want to focus on the character and the feeling I want to show.
gradient maps are fun
ive never worked with gradient maps before and ended up making an illustration instead of doing my work
Gradient maps are literally magic even if my shit isn't finished or is half assed it's so cool to just slap a gradient map on it and see how it would look...
and then the rest is just excessively-mapped cel-shading, line color adjustment, and then using gradients on selections from the shade layer
if i like my old lineart layers, i make them into background elements
i’m pretty basic since my view is kinda animation-influenced
testing out colors and i mess around with the gradient map ✨✨✨

I think that these gradient maps I've been testing out are really useful, but when it comes down to it, I feel like there is no substitute for painting in all the colors myself. I don't think I could have achieved the color result I have here if I had relied on gradient maps.
not as drastic as quincy's overhaul but savannah actually has her ear gradients now yay
@dogshitjayyy !!! ADAWE;IFJ it's nothing special :''D
i use a multiply layer for shading and a screen or soft light layer for highlights/lighting. also, gradients and the airbrush tool are my best friends. also, yellow. i somehow manage to put yellow in almost all my art.
Gradient map practice + dorky joke (get it? most sonas have at least edgy stuff on it)
