Good evening everyone! Tonight’s Dino of the day is wiehenvenator. Wiehenvenator was a theropod that lived during the Jurassic period. It grew to 25ft in length. It was found in Germany 🇩🇪. See you explorers tomorrow!🤠

Given the uncertain position for Megaraptorans in the theropod family tree, I added some feathers. Either it's a reduced basal coelurosaurian/tyrannosauroid feather coat or it's speculative filaments developed in derived allosauroids, take yer pick
Just a regular friendly island theropod, nothing to see here!

@aureamachina Dinodogs! A mix of any dog breed and any theropod dinosaur. They're bio-weapons cloned by time travelling aliens, and are now left on Earth to wreak havoc on ecosystems globally. Now the goal is to capture them all and protect them from being reclaimed some day as war machines.
🌊14/31 Spinosaurus 🌊 This bizarre aquatic dinosaur has just gotten weirder and weirder over the years. After we initially thought it was just an ordinary sailbacked theropod because of its fragmentary remains, key features in later discoveries proved this giant was a swimmer

@randompaleonerd @MarkWitton @OberstarPatrik My main curiosity is that the dentary foramina row is much closer to the dental margin & there doesn’t seem to be as much of a groove in Spinosaurus when compared to some other theropods (Albertosaurus; Majungasaurus & Allosaurus, Sinraptor & Acrocanthosaurus). Why would this be?
Got my scanner situation sorted out, so I dusted off my tablet and jumped on the Spinosaurus bandwagon. Such a bizarre and magnificent animal. The Pharaoh of dinosaurs.

Trouvées sur le même site que le squelette déjà connu, elles forment une queue haute, inédite dans ce groupe de dinosaures, qui aidait à se propulser dans l'eau.

@Trey_Explainer I mean, considering how the Spino has gone from theropod to quadruped and seemingly back to theropod again, I think there'll always be arguments on how it should look. We really can't seem to decide how it should be, but I think the recent depictions are pretty cool tbh
