still messing with some artstyle stuff. left is normal coloring but with a thicker outline, right is colored pencil with digital lines

Line tests so far. 1st is using 's Outline Node Build + Bevel based internal lines, 2nd is inverted hull+bevel lines. This is Cycles because bevel only works there, but it can be baked to use in eevee since these don't deform much

When drawing city maps, the chosen style for buildings makes a HUGE difference to how long it takes! Each one is a separate process step for EVERY building: 1 outline, 3 colour fill, 4 detail ink, 5 colour pickout, 6 highlight, 7 shadow, 8 texture.
