i have some personal stylization rules for sprites in cycle! mostly that the active arm or leg will always have an outline if they're moving and hiding another body part, and the shading will always come from the top left. from there i keep going!!

Neat homage in episode 36 of Fire Force: thickly outlined silhouettes emboldened in red; reminiscent of the artwork utilized in the Persona 5 All-Out Attacks. This is explicitly intentional considering it's uniquely incorporated into the aesthetic of a character also named Joker.

It was a pain, but I think that I'm done with the outlines. The tricky part with them is that every piece of hair is in a different layer, so I had to find a way to get them ordered so that the outline will still be smoothly around the hair when it moves
