The Early Jurassic saw an explosion in the diversity of sauropodomorphs, including the appearance of numerous giant species. Here are the taxa from two of five Early Jurassic formations that will be featured in my in-prep book (out sometime next year)

Palaeoloxodon namadicus can be called a few things- the Asian-straight-tusked elephant, or the Sangauni elephant - "small" is not one of them. This colossus would have looked down at Tyrannosaurus and outweighed its fair share of sauropods.

Sarmientosaurus musacchioi //

It had a small brain, but its massive eye sockets indicated a sharp vision, a unique discovery among the sauropods. Due to their gigantic size, sauropods are rarely preserved and found as a complete animal.

Day 10: Amargasaurus. A Sauropod that could galloping like a rhino.

day 10 with an Amargasaurus sketch! I love sauropods with strange adaptations like massive spikes.

Day 10 Small for a sauropod, this early cretaceous Dino is best identified by parallel large spines protruding from its neck and back. Once thought to be skin sails, they are now believed to be spikes.

Day 3 This is quite possibly the most ridiculous dino I have ever seen. A middle cretaceous short necked, long neck sauropod with weird teeth and loads of hollow bones and a weird head.

SAUROPOD FARMS - Certain more common breeds of dinosaurs become staple in the meat industry, their colossal size in comparison to traditional livestock makes production exponentially more efficient. Sauropoda, Ornithopoda, and Theropoda replace beef, pork, and poultry. Big eats!

And Abrosaurus is the awkward fifth since Twitter only likes uploading in fours and it looks worse since it was the warmup.

We’re Back! A Dinosaur story came out in 1993 based on the children’s book by Hudson Talbott from 1987, they added in prof. Screweyes in the film, also removed a Stego, raptor, and sauropod.
But dinos given sentient vitamins try to make they’re way to a museum.
