And and #Eodromaeus to go with it, two dinosaurs that illustrate how similar the earliest theropods and sauropodomorphs were. So much so that they've both flip-flopped all around in different positions in the saurischia family tree!
An early Jurassic sauropodomorph, #Massospondylus was native to Southern Africa ~ 190 million years ago. It was one of the first dinosaurs described (1850s) and is the namesake of an entire family of mid-sized, bipedal "pro-sauropod" dinosaurs.

Yunnanosaurus (Yunnan Lizard) is a sauropodomorph from Early-Mid Jurassic China! It was one of the last "prosauropods" to ever live! It's believed to primarily be quadrupedal, but like other prosauropods, could also stand on two legs!

Meet Saturnalia; this unassuming dinosaur is one of the earliest, most primitive Sauropodomorphs; related to the ancestors of what will become the mighty Sauropods. Unlike it's later cousins it was small, fleet footed, and omnivorous. Remains are known from Late Triassic Brazil.
