As a primarily mini-painting DM, having to go online for DnD makes me cry a bit. But now I'm spending a lot of time making character portraits, terrain tiles, and backgrounds to import into roll20. Rough sketches for this weeks home game!
just gave in and bought Steven Colling's first Isles of Lore tilepack, which unlike its sequel is *not* Hex Kit-compatible (instead one has to use an image editor to assemble tiles) but this allows it to have a different, really evocative perspective.
