とりあえず、1時間前の発想を頼りに、顔の中に口を埋め込んで、コンポジット処理で透過させてみました。
左がビューポート、右がレンダリング結果です。顔の口は閉じてても、埋め込んだ口は開いてるので、こんな感じになります。これ使えば、口の制御めっちゃ楽になるのでは！？
