A wonderful book all about how the forest 🌳 works. Beautifully showing the food chain and how one thing leads to another. Gorgeous illustrations and logical transitions from page to page make this a perfect book for the classroom or a bedtime read.

So I got my room transitions working, added more detail to the first and second rooms! I also added the beginnings of a dialog system. I think things are looking really good so far!

I'm finishing up chapter 5 today and I'm really struggling with the ending. Transitions can be a pain in the butt sometimes.

Negative frames are used all over the place both as transitions and to pack some extra punch (always on the 1 beat of the music). They're also frequently used with silhouette outlines of the character (yes it's a single frame, yes it still makes a difference!)

Remade the forwards walk cycle for the overworld sprites for my game. Made the sprite itself bigger and added more frames for smoother transitions. Old animation is in the replies for comparison.

I will use diagonal attacks, to have more specificity in the use of this character. Still improve the shot effects, some transitions and a new "straight up" jump transition.🤔

It’s coming along! Masthead will obscure most of those leaves. I’m working with a lot fewer analogous colour transitions than I usually do...

Side children ! They were never my fursonas but that doesn't mean I don't love them to bits. They were all still super important to me and helped during transitions in my life, both personal changes and fursona changes. Good beans !!
