Not sure I would have wanted to meet this beastie on a dark night. This is Onychodictyon ferox, likely a predator that crawled along the sea floor, using its sturdy curved grasping claws to capture prey and climb over objects.

fun facts/lessons learned
1) used curves with bevel/taper to do togemon's hair, anime-style
2) repeated for the needles, using an emitter > hair
3) had a tough time with the deform so I ended up separating the arms and legs
4) please stop watering my plant!! she's too powerful!!!
