Looking forward to that DIY anime since it looks really cute, though hopefully the project overlap at Pinejam with that team doesn't cause a mess. The visual is a nice mix of classic fugo (thematic framing and style of painting, the attention to fabric) with more stylized faces

Update Time! 1) Initial import to substance painter. 2) Texturing done almost final pass. 3) Inside UE4 with a vertex blend shader to add the mossy parts. What are you guys thoughts? What have you worked on today.

another idea is to not simplify everything, keep some mid and small level details, which we rarely see in stylized enviro art. some games i think did a great job at a similar style is dishonored, disco elysium, maybe vane. but i feel like there is huge potential to explore still.

For my next art I am planning to work in this theme more.
More realistic proportions and less stylized than before!
I realized I prefer these over my other artwork.
Taking a break from art really helped me to see that :)
