- Explored new alternatives for Retopo process, found love in Blender.
- Baked out maps.
- Began learning Substance painter
- Now texturing a first time PBR character.

Short, punchy levels that get progressively harder. Much of this was reused for 2014's Resurgence, often weaving adjacent level layouts together to make larger maps.
You know who I want to see back in Iceborne after playing it to the end? Volvidon. We need a good para monster (and an evasion set that isn’t Kushal). I’d love to see it back, rolling around the slopes of the maps.
Update: I think Pell is done (again) and this new path texture lets me really accentuate things like the dirty edges of the stone area near the well. It's a bit tedious but now that it's all set up I'm really excited to get it into the other maps. #warofvelana #gamedev #pixelart

Phantom Hourglass is one of my favorite DS games and I had too much fun scribbling on the in-game Maps. Drawn and then painted with Watercolors.
Back to KH1. There are a lot of great illustrations of the game's maps. These were clearly made pretty late in the development process since they match the in-game look almost exactly.
Ah yes, 'Box'. My favorite box brand in all of Traverse Town.
Tweaked the Phong, finished the custom decals, and faked detail bumpmaps.
Looks great TBH in a 2009 Source Engine.
