In 2007, we began work on The Force Unleashed DLC levels at LucasArts with Eugene Wong as Env Lead. I had the opportunity to learn from our concept art team by contributing to the process. These are the 3D concepts I made that became the foundation for the shipping meshes. 1/5

My 2nd and maybe last mod for a while is finished. I replaced the entire Cloud Strife meshes with Freya Crescent. It was quite fun, this entire journey. It took me a month from going from scratch up to this point. Thank you for enjoying the my vids/pics <3

I know everyone clowns on greyy2 for coming out of nowhere but ngl the glowup is really good; greyy1 always kind of looked like he sort of belonged somewhere else but greyy2 meshes so much better with ak's art direction

Updating my v5 model
So far I've only edited the textures and materials
Gonna remake some meshes to have better topo but same shape and make the endo more interesting and give it more withering because only the front snout and jaw plates have it.

The rest of the setup is "composited" in the viewport, nothing crazy just some meshes and transparency tricks (e.g. for cutting the text out of the black bar, it's one object with the text in front and "Show Backface" disabled)

I'm making the book on him public. I just can't seem to get it to close without the meshes clipping into one another and whatnot, so enjoy it as it is for now. At least you get to stretch the ribbon like a tape measure.

Soft, ethereal line meshes get increasingly complex in later pieces, and also occasionally include graphical elements.

Would ideally like to get closer the actual character but I'm having some trouble figuring out how to import custom meshes into VRoid Studio (I don't know if it is even possible at all)

Still don't understand why all videos will have you sculpt some separate meshes... I can't even conveniently add any parts while sculpting. I can't see my keyboard. I literally just used clay brush ALLLL the way.

Recently I found faster tools for doing the same process, using Photoshop and even Photomosh's light distribution meshes. It creates a height map from the image which you can use to pull it out into an extra dimension
