Body and fins shapes more like pelagic lamniforms or carcharhiniforms would be appropriate. and artbyjrc have created some recons in line with that thinking. There is still room for speculation, but avoid slow-moving, benthic sharks.

These fish live in the mesopelagic zone and use thier large telescoping eyes to pick up faint light from thier bioluminescent prey.

You get a Yatt, an animal commonly eaten on planet Yindako. A pelagic, migratory apex predator. Yatt steaks are said to taste like a mix of lobster and salmon, with the texture of scallops. Also delicious smoked and/or jerky.
