apparently its I draw dinosaurs, pterosaurs, mosasaurs, ammonites and kin e.c.t but mainly focus on maniraptoran dinosaurs, nyctosaurid pterosaurs and azhdarchid pterosaurs!!!

A lovely diorama illustrating an environment from the Morrison Formation. It features the enormous Brachiosaurus and a few pterosaurs!

Although pterosaurs have made their way in the Garden, the real stars of the show are the Anurognathus or "Wyverns", with a kind of fur, the production of "milk" and an improved parental instinct, they were able to adapt to diverse regions.

Listening to the latest episode of Terrible Lizards with and about Anurognathid pterosaurs as I work. Great as always! As you may know I really like anurognathids!

As you might have noticed.... I think non-pterodactyloid pterosaurs are rather neat.

Dear pterosaur people:
What is this ligament and where is it attaching to in the torso? I thought the ligament from the pteroid was supposed to connect to the deltopectoral crest, but here that's a totally different ligament, so guess not?

Guidraco. I feel like everything I draw is an experiment with process, lol. This was very straightforward, minimal brush use, very few layers. I love pterosaurs, they're as familiar as they are strange. As usual, not an expert, anatomical critique welcome!

Let me get this straight:
-Reptile
-Flies on wings of skin
-Toothy (most of the time)
-Comes with or without a tail
-Sometimes has head adornments

Yeah, pterosaurs are dragons but real.

In all the excitement, a new Azhdarchid pterosaur from South America slipped through the cracks! Meet the 86 million year old "Dragon of Death" -

The eyes look tiny on these giant pterosaurs, not because they are particularly small but because the skull of these animals were around 3 meters long.

Night 2 at in Edinburgh was all about paleontology for me; great talks, great pints, great fun!
