The Hawthorn Tree, May Tree or Faery Tree is filled with powerful fairy magic. In Irish folklore it is unlucky to cut down a lone hawthorn tree. A sacred tree, said to be a secret meeting place for the fairies. Leave a small offering there to ensure good luck.

These dragons are based on the dragons in The Mabinogion - a collection of Welsh mythology. The red dragon represents the Welsh and the white - the Saxon invaders. The red vanquishes the white and that’s how the Welsh flag came to feature the red dragon!
