The movies that were best exported recently were the two ATTRACTION films from Fyodor Bondarchuk, you've probably seen/heard of them. But Disney has a Russian branch, and they produce fantasy films specifically for the Russian market. Those films barely ever cross the borders.

Memo to future writers/directors: If you’re gonna make a movie about a lost island full of dinosaurs, don’t call it “Dinosaur Island”.

It’s painfully generic and we already have a dozen films with that same title.
