Masked owl is looking better. I tested a feather method. I once worked with the fx guy on shadow of the colossus and there was a clever billboard method used for the giant's fur. Now trying out the hair particles, some feathers in this would be a great combo.

Experimenting with bone reduction. VRM Spring Bones are not very good when there is an extreme amount of bones for the physics so I'm testing a method that reduces bone count so physics in VRM won't be very "springy". MMD is a different story...
