On Medibang, I use quite an arsonal, but most notably, I use the magic wand tool, airbrush, gradient, the eyedropper tool, and I clip my layers when shading onto base colors. I used all of these when making Ash here just today.

the eyelashes look like spider legs🕷️ i recommend you to make them more flowy
and make the ears bigger too

When drawing tight clothes, shade as it was skin, i use the select tool to every muscle and then the airbrush on edges while selected on a multiply layer, after that you can use the eraser to add light details

I used airbrushes when I first started playing around with digital painting! However, the results looked way too smooth and everything felt too plastic-y. Rougher brushes gives the image more "life".
