Eventually I get this horrible-looking colour map of all the different palettes. Now it's time to start recolouring the art and turning it from a pretty image into hard, cold, greyscale data. By wand-selecting the patches of colour I can flood-fill each part of the palette.

The most surreal and euphoric moment that I had in my entire gaming life is when I experienced FE4's timeskip for the first time. The map theme also added to the wonder I was experiencing at that moment because it is like a remix of Birth of the Holy Knight from the Prologue.
