Aha! book 2 complete! The Combat Codes, by Alexander Darwin, is holding in second place, right under the other book I've read so far. I enjoyed the story, especially the martial arts, but I had a few issues with worldbuilding and diversity elements.

Xevious was a cool game.
There was a Xevious cab at the corner fish+chip 🍟 shop, so I played it a lot. 🤔 I think it was the first arcade game I saw with hidden elements. ie: bonuses that would appear if you bombed the right spot.

Behind the scenes. First sketch I did while on a call for something else. 3, 4 minutes tops, a roadmap for the next sketch. Second sketches were about trying to nail shapes and position elements. Final product was after hundreds of tweaks and dozens of versions in illustrator.
