Happy Birthday, Harrison Ford. These drawings date back to 1993-95 when I was deep in an Indiana Jones/Star War phase (in addition to Tolkien which has been going since 1992).

My version of Smaug, from the book The Hobbit by Tolkien 💕 I’d love to illustrate more from this story, maybe from Lord of the Rings too!

Today's research progress:
🔥continued on the history of early heretic women and it's INFURIATING;
🌊turned to Tolkien for his translation of the underwater battle: I'm going to need that;
🪶started looking for some good book on Galician folklore (help appreciated).

IMAGES OF THE SECOND AGE.

Today: TED NASMITH.

Spoiler: Yes, Númenor will fall.

The Second Age is the story of the gift to the Édain, the island of Westernesse - Númenor.

Long life, happiness and good health.

And that's why we can't have nice things 🤣

My titled "Sleeping Smaug" (watercolor on paper, 42x59,4 cm - A2, 2016, SOLD), based on "the Hobbit" by Luckily, I've finished this before the second Hobbit movie, so this dragon is just mine - not a copy of any kind.
