Possibly my new favourite manuscript! Add MS 24189 (c.1410, Bohemia), a text-free series of full-page miniatures depicting scenes from the Book of John Mandeville. The work is grisaille, with colour really effectively applied for dramatic effect.

Many years ago, after I had created I found out that the triangular poncho (quesqueme) is actually a female-only garment. It is kinda funny that a fierce god like Chicahualizteotl is wearing one, so I made a medieval equivalent to see how they would look.
