Probably an ignorant question, but here goes: what's the point of learning perspective, when you have a program where you can set up some boxes, pose a dummy, and then paint over that? Seems like learning the abacus, when you have a calculator.

I had problems with the character perspective in multi-character illustrations, but I found a way to quickly deal with it. I just downloaded the free 3d model and placed it in Blender where characters should be located. Looks messy but it was super helpful!
