Elisabeth Winterhalter (1856–1952) 🇩🇪 was a gynecologist and surgeon! Her research identified ovarian autonomic ganglia using Golgi staining, but her discovery was widely dismissed until it was confirmed nearly 100 years later!

Artist Spotlight 🔦 Basil Blackshaw.
Blackshaw was born in Co. Antrim and studied at the Belfast College of Art from 1948 to 1951. In his year of graduation he won a travelling scholarship which enabled him to spend a year in Paris. He has exhibited regularly since 1952.
Finally finished working with these two portraits of Crisco Kid from Caballero Droopy 1952 MGM short. I always had some weakness for southern men and finding such hot Mexican wolf was a great discovery for me.
