ALRIGHT so I tried to get a good balance of both the official 2d and 3d art rather than in-game photos to avoid getting the wrong color due to shaders
The 2d art is a lot richer and has a more prominent red-orange undertone while the 3d art is slightly more muted and pink.

And.. I think I know why. Something in the shaders got changed, maybe the mix nodes.. maybe something else.. but something is broken in recent builds. But for now.. sleep.
