@fairytales_phot @lumixcan Here is an uncropped frame straight out of camera with some basic adjustments. This is at the closest focusing distance that the kit lens affords, and at 47MP I have plenty of room to crop in and make a more cohesive composition. :)

[a few thoughts]
I’ve always been hesitant on doing commissions. In fact, this might be the very first one I did.
A difficult one for me involving 2 person in composition.
I’ve made several anatomy mistakes (beginner mistakes)

pic below is all the attempted amendment
i had in my head the image of shading the pleats of her skirt with a golden red which sparked the composition. ended up working in pixels so that didn't happen. very messy, i just kind of went for it & decided last minute to mix in some aliased airbrushing

It is difficult to make it the desired composition.
Either these are getting weird, or I'm experienting with composition. Which ever one is true, they still lead to a page being posted on Sunday or Monday.
If you can understand what is going on in every panel, you deserve a medal for understanding messy sketches.

@TawnyFritz This always cracks me up. I remember when me, Elizabeth Alba, and Jenny Dolfen did pieces on the same lesser-known character from myth... (Even though my version was based on a book char. based on the myth char.) And all of the pieces were oval and similar in composition. 😆
