It would have been okay if the artist heavily referenced. Eg.) this. Any artist who can draw poses like this with out tracing should also be able to comprehend visual balance, proportions, and how fabric works. Also Venti looks really stiff.

The 1st pic is my fave still, I freehand referenced (yes, no tracing) a pic out of my horse book of 2 horses at a show that got loose & threw hooves. 2nd pic was UNreferenced of .... a sun and moon stallion???? Both done in 98, so I was.... 11? 12?
