A dev said the big frame in the pic is gonna have a gameplay use, and there's a big emphasis on it in concept art. Plus another structure in the ancient city is called "small_portal_statue".

The gameplay is hell. Its buggy and annoying. The rng system is horrible. it was not fun to play as a game.

BUT AS A STORY, its absolutely incredible; its heartfelt, and funny, and feels very bittersweet. Great characters, plot, and designs. Very interesting.

Just saw the Lab Coat 21 gameplay

She looks really cool, the amount of normals she has make her mix scary as hell, her command grab super is just stupid, and her level 3 looks super good
