These are some of my recent pieces, I've been testing out more lighting and shading methods. Still practicing with better anatomy as well as trying to expand on my poses.

My first cracks at digital coloring via three methods:

1) color fill layers with vector map edits
2) new layers with paint, erase and blur tool edits
3) shading done in pencil, color and highlight added via (2)

2) and 3) feel right, maybe blend for more texture?

UMMMMM after adding another type of shape to the scene, this method suddenly seems much more interesting for doing offline renders in general.

It doesn't use the pythagorean theorem on any world positions, so the scene can be very large without doing any precision hacks!
